What Is a Rosacea Treatment Like?

Patients can have their entire treatment in less than 60 minutes, often shorter for milder cases. When you come into the office, we will apply a mild numbing cream to the skin to avoid discomfort. The laser itself usually feels like a very quick rubber band snap against the skin. Not painful, but mildly noticeable. Still, patients tend to report the treatment being easily tolerated and no significant pain concerns. Once the treatment is complete, you can return to your day. However, there may be some redness, so some patients prefer taking a day or few off from work until their skin clears up. Also, avoid excess sun exposure in the days after treatment to prevent further irritation of the skin.

When Can I See the Results?
